History of enterprise "Altosan" originates actually since 1989 when joint Soviet-Canadian venture enterprise "Protos"- the Soviet enterprise having offices and branches in Kiev, Moscow, Riga, Chernovtsy, Yerevan has been organised. Telecommunication, repair of electric motors, producing and sales of rubber goods and even work with precious metals were the basic directions of activity of the enterprise. The company grew and extended, and in 1991 by right could be called "union enterprise" value. In 1991 "parade of sovereignties" of union republics thanks to which the state Soviet Union has ceased to exist has begun. Ukraine became sovereign power, and enterprise branches have appeared on the different parties of borders. Therefore in January, 1992 the decision the Kiev branch of the joint venture to register as new firm which has received the name "Altosan" was accepted. Priority directions of development of firm had been chose telecommunication and fire automatics for buildings and constructions. Since 1994 the enterprise becomes highly specialised in one area - now the firm is engaged exclusively in systems of fire-prevention protection. Since 1995 the enterprise starts to advance in the market of Ukraine of system aerosol пожаротушения, than and continues to be engaged and to this day.
